Do you do photography for birthday parties or events?

We do! If you have a birthday party or outdoor event you would like to book us for send us an email and we will give you a custom quote based on your needs. We do not currently offer wedding photography.

What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
How do I book a photography session with you?

You can book a session directly through our website. We are also happy to book one for you by sending us an email with the date/time you are looking for. Email kelsey@lionandtherooster.com

Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, we're open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you.
Do you do hair/makeup and wardrobe styling?

Before your shoot we will send you a "style guide" that will show you what the best colors/patterns are for your specific shoot. We love being a part of the process when it comes to styling so we do not add an extra charge for that. Its included!


We do not do hair and makeup so we ask that you have little ones come with a clean face. For yourself if you wear makeup its best to do a natural makeup and hairstyle for the photoshoot. Please bring your makeup bag with you.


Where are you located?
We are located in San Gabriel, CA and can recommend locations in the San Gabriel Valley/Pasadena area. We do travel for a fee that would be discussed before time of booking.
Do you offer times other than what is on your online booking calendar?
Yes! Just send us an email so we can discuss a date/time that will work for you.
Do you shoot on film?
We can! If you are interested in having film added to your photo shoot let us know and we can offer an add-on rate.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand life happens, especially with kids. If you need to cancel your booking please reach out to us as soon as possible and let us know. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy for a full refund. If you do need to cancel under 48 hours we offer a 50% refund.
